Find Yourself in Singapore
We complemented the social media-led Find Yourself in Singapore creative campaign and showed Australian travellers what Singapore has to offer by using the campaign ambassador, Jimmy Rees, as a media drawcard.
The challenge
Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Oceania partnered with Australian comedian Jimmy Rees to launch its Find Yourself in Singapore campaign. This local social media-led campaign put Australian travellers at the heart of the rich and unique experiences made possible only in Singapore.
The Solution
As part of the campaign, audiences followed a 3D-printed miniature figurine of Rees to iconic locations around the Lion City, where the comedian invited Australians who have never been to Singapore to share their reasons for wanting to visit, for a chance to win their trip to Singapore.
To complement this, we split our PR campaign into two phases: the creative campaign launch and a consumer announcement that showcased Singapore's variety.
The results
Our PR campaign achieved a total of 43 pieces of media coverage, reaching over 38.76 million people. We secured interviews with major programs, including News Corp’s Escape, Seven Network’s The Morning Show, Sky News Regional, Nova 93.7 Nathan, Nat & Shaun, and Nova 96.9 Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie.
